About this bracket

A floor-mounted guide that holds a sliding closet door steady on its track. With no floor guide, a sliding door sways and swings back and forth as it moves. Three rollers ride against the guidepost instead of a fixed post, so the door glides instead of banging and scraping.

The guidepost width adjusts, which helps on remodel jobs where the door is a nonstandard thickness. A low-profile base with counter-sunk screw holes keeps the bracket out of the way in the closet opening.

Designed in Tualatin, Oregon. Injection-molded ABS.

Fits / does not fit

Fits

  • Sliding and bypass closet doors, mounted to the floor in the opening.
  • Doors that are not a standard thickness. The guidepost width adjusts.

Does not fit

  • Pocket doors. The Pocket Door Guide mounts on the jamb instead.
  • Barn doors. Use the Barn Door Floor Guide Bracket or the Barn Door Floor Roller Guide.
  • A floor that changed height and left a taller gap. Use the Universal Adjustable Height bracket.

Screws are not included. Compare all six guides if you are not sure this is the right one.

Installation

  1. Measure the gap between the door bottom and the finished floor.
  2. Position the guide so the posts sit centered under the door.
  3. Fasten with the counter-sunk screw holes, or use construction adhesive on finished floors. Screws and adhesive are not included.

Patent pending on the tall floor guide bracket.
